Mljet Island

MLJET –this relatively small, but stunningly beautiful island is the most forested island of Adriatic sea. One third of it is protected as a national park, which is one of the highest degrees of protection in Croatia which is due to the outstanding beauty and richness of flora and fauna. It is also a home to numerous beaches, fish and lobster fishing grounds, exceptional historical and cultural monuments and beautiful caves (with Odysseus cave as the most famous one. It recently got to the 5th place of Forbes magazines ‘undiscovered Mediterranean islands for travelers.’
