Brač Island

BRAČ-  is the third largest island of Croatia famously known for its white ‘brač’ stone. It is also the highest of the islands with Vidova Gora peak reaching 778 meters above sea level. The trademark of the island is ‘Zlatni rat’ beach in Bol. It’s the most famous Croatian beach and one of the tourist symbols of Croatia. The south side of the island preserved a special combination of fishing and pastoral way of living worth visiting. Don’t forget to try well known ‘plavac’ wine coupled with cheese and lamb specialties.
